Involved In The Community
We are active members of our community, whether it be locally or internationally.
If you live, or visit Edmonton, you may have had the opportunity to stop by one of our many events. We host a number of events throughout the year at our retail location in Edmonton, AB Canada. From our Annual Pancake Breakfast, to cooking demonstrations and workshops, we are always busy coming up with new ideas. We also participate in local events, such as the Festival of Trees which raise money for the University of Alberta Hospital Foundation. To see our past entries, click here.

For the adults, we put on gluten free cooking classes throughtout the year. Space is limited so get on the waiting list by visiting the store. We also stream these classes live to the web so you can watch them from the comfort of your own home. Past classes are archived for viewing here.
For the kids, we host themed cupcake/cookie decorating parties which include decorating, coloring with crayons, and of course tasting!
On the international scale, we provide support to national and regional support groups. Whether it is in the form of literature, advertising, sponsorship, or product donations, we understand the integral role these support groups play within a community. If your support group would like to obtain product donations for an upcoming meeting or event, please click here to check out our donation page.
We recognize that our success is largely due to the loyalty of our consumers. As such, we feel it is important to give back and support the many organizations in our community which advocate and support those with Celiac Disease, Autism, or food allergies and intolerances. Our commitment to our customers and the groups helping our customers is known throughout North America. In 2010, Kinnikinnick supported over 1000 support group events with product donations valued at almost $210,000.
We provided donations to:
Celiac Support Groups
Autism Support Groups
Allergy Support Groups
We are also in our 11th year as sponsor of CyclingForCeliacs.
